The Evangelical Christ’s Church was built as a neo-Gothic structure at the highest point between the Möhne and Ruhr rivers. It consists of worked quarrystone and has a slate roof. The increase in the number of the congregation from 1897-1899 meant that the church had to be expanded. The main aisle was lengthened and a side gallery was extended. The three windows in the choir show the resurrection of Christ and were one reason why the church was named “Christ’s Church” after the Second World War. After the church was renovated on the outside at the beginning of the 1990s, work began on renovating the interior.
