Die naTo – Cinémathèque Leipzig e.V.

The building of the naTo socio-cultural centre catches the eye with its bright yellow façade and stands out from the numerous other establishments on the popular Karl Liebknecht Straße in Leipzig's southern suburb. The naTo is responsible for the live cultural programme, while Cinématèque organises film screenings as a separate division. The focus here is on the international film culture, which means that the programme is largely made up of experimental, documentary or short films. The productions are shown exclusively in the original language or with subtitles, which is intended to promote the exchange and discussion of film content.
