On its land around Engelstedt, Hof Hagemann cultivates sugar beet, winter wheat, winter barley and maize on conventionally farmed arable land in accordance with the principles of integrated pest management.
In 2004, the Hagemann farm began growing pumpkins. The pumpkin season starts every year in mid-September with the pumpkin festival. Over 60 different varieties of ornamental and edible pumpkins are grown, which are sold on the farm until the end of October.
In 2007, a flower field for self-picking was added. Every year from the beginning of July, you will find a colorful mixture of sunflowers, gladioli, lilies, zinnias, asters and many different summer flowers on the outskirts of Engelstedt (towards the A39).
Since April 2016, Hof Hagemann has been selling free-range eggs from its own chickens in its farm store.
Other products from the region: meat and sausage products from pasture-raised pigs, pasture-raised broilers, potatoes, sweet potatoes, pasta, milk, cocoa, honey, apple juice.Openings
