Company founder Ralf Bitzer and his team take a passionate and sophisticated approach to their work. They create recipes and then make and package the finished products. Fragrant jams and chutneys, curry and barbeque sauces as well as fruit juices and syrups are all 100% hand-made for true connoisseurs. The seasonal ingredients are sourced from small fruit farms and orchards in the local area. Kern & Stein also offers liqueurs, honey, chocolate, mustard, oils, teas and biscuits as well as freshly roasted coffee. In addition, this little artisan company sells liver sausage and salami made by local sausage makers using meat from free-range farms where animal welfare is a priority. The beautifully designed shop invites customers to stay a while and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee.
