According to old tradition, a raw spirit is first produced from clear well water, barley malt and wheat from the company's own estates in copper stills. This is followed by a second distillation. The result is a 96% fine spirit of unsurpassed purity, which contains only the fine floral grain aromas. Using spring water from our own well, this fine base spirit is distilled to 38% vol.
Its mild, characteristic taste is achieved through ageing in oak barrels. In addition, the addition of plant, fruit and herbal extracts results in fine, excellent liqueurs. The product range is constantly being expanded: since 2020, three different spirits (Fine Blackcurrant, Fine Raspberry, Fine Hazelnut), the vodka "Eisbrecher", the fine cumin "LAX Wasser" and the marzipan liqueur "Harzipan" have been certified.
The following products have been awarded the "Typisch Harz" regional brand:
