St. Nicholas Church has a 16th century sacrament house with pinnacles, a double Madonna in the nave and a wooden carved pulpit from around 1600. On the north wall of the transept is a Gothic triumphal cross from 1550.
The baroque Johann Patroclus Möller organ, which originally stood in the Böddeken monastery, is one of the most important in Westphalia and came to Büren as a gift in 1804 in the course of secularization. The organ has been rebuilt several times over the years. The last major restoration and new voicing took place in 1993/94. Today the instrument has 43 stops on 3 manuals and pedal. Since 1992, the Förderverein Johann Patroclus Möller Orgel e. V. has ensured the preservation and use of the beautiful organ.Good to know
