Tai Chi Chuan, the traditional program of Chinese physical exercises, has a positive effect on body, mind and soul. It slows you down and counteracts stress - perfect for providing a counterpoint in our hectic times! Tai Chi is balm for body and soul. If you perform the ancient martial arts movements as if in slow motion, you will leave everyday life behind you. Just the thing for you here in the Lüneburg Heath under the guidance of Shifu Yin Dang (Dr. Ottmar G. Meiburg), lecturer in Asian movement theory and director of the Shaolin Dao Academy in Bispingen.
What are the benefits of Tai Chi?
First of all, it takes some concentration to internalize the Tai Chi movements and perform them as smoothly and fluently as they are intended. It is also important to synchronize your breathing with the movements - the aim is to achieve deep abdominal breathing that is just as fluid and harmonious as the movements so that the Qi can flow. In the Chinese world view, qi (chi) corresponds to life energy, which should always be harmonious and in flow. And who wouldn't want that for their life?
I offer you selected exercises from Tai Chi Chuan / Taijiquan and Qi Gong to participate in our workshops and seminars as an instructor and certified teacher with state approval for prevention courses of the health insurance companies and the Central Prevention Testing Center (ZPP), Health Promotion §20 and Fascial Fitness Advanced Trainer.
