SpargelGUT Braunschweiger Land

The SpargelGUT Braunschweiger Land was founded in 2010 by Friedrich Heins and Ernst-August Winkelmann. The farm is based at Klostergut Uehrde near Schöppenstedt and is managed by Friedrich Heins. In 2010, the first 12 hectares of this healthy noble vegetable were planted in the old Braunschweig countryside. The fields where our asparagus grows are located on the edge of the Großes Bruch landscape conservation area. We have been harvesting and marketing our asparagus in the Braunschweig region since 2012. Our farm has been GLOBAL G.A.P. and QS-GAP certified since 2013. The principle of transparent production applies. QS is the world's largest inspection system for safe food, which involves all stakeholders in food production - from the farmer to the store counter.
