The tour starts at the hiking parking lot in Vysoká Lipa. First, we descend into the Ferinandsklamm gorge to the ruins of the mystical-looking Grundmühle mill. The Grundmühle mill, also known as Dolský Mlýn, was originally a mill, or more precisely a sawmill. The mill was later converted to grind grain and produce beer. At the end of the 19th century, the Ferdinand Gorge boat trip ended here. A pub was also built at this time. The mill was abandoned after 1945. The route continues along the Kirnitzsch. If you have the time and inclination, you can also take a detour to the ... viewpoint. Here you can look down into the Kirnitzsch gorge. The route then continues along the cool bottom of the Kirnitzsch until you reach the village of Jetrichovice. Here you have the opportunity to stop for refreshments. After refreshments, the route continues (red line) to the first summit. The Marienfels. Since ... there has been a beautiful viewing platform here. The view extends over the foothills of Saxon Switzerland and far into the Czech countryside. A short time later, you reach the second view of the summit tour: the view from the Wilhelminenwand, originally called the "Schwarze Wand", but now named after Princess Wilhelmine Kinsky, Rudolf Kinsky's wife. From here, you can see the Marienfels and the Rudolfstein. Incidentally, the Kammweg runs along here - a 100 km long stage hiking trail that is modeled on the Malerweg. The E3 is also part of the summit tour. Continue along the red line until you finally reach the Rudolfstein, formerly known as the "Hoher Stein". Since 1824, it has borne the name of Prince Rudolf Kinsky, who visited the rock and later had a shelter built there. From the highest rock, you have a unique panoramic view of the landscape of Bohemian Switzerland. A path leads to the summit and towards the end there is a challenging ascent over stone steps. After that, the path is fairly straightforward, without any major elevation gain. At the crossroads, shortly before the finish in Vysoká Lipa, the red line leads to the last view - the Schaunstein - in about 500 meters. A castle ruin in which a few rooms carved into the rock have been preserved. The trail then leads back to the crossroads in the direction of the starting point in Vysoká Lipa (yellow line).
