We start our cycle tour in the Alme valley below Wewelsburg Castle and follow the Alme to Brenken. We leave the village heading north past St. Mark's Chapel. The route takes us through wide fields.
On reaching Liebfrauenweg, we turn right and follow the cycle path to the airport. After cycling around the airport to the east, we now head downhill again to Almetal, where we return to our starting point.

From the traffic circle on the K37/L751, follow the road to Wewelsburg. At the entrance to the village, follow the signs to the barbecue hut.
Free parking is available at the barbecue hut in Büren-Wewelsburg, which also has a bike service station.
