The 27 km Jesuit Trail starts and ends in Büren on the market square and takes you through the districts of Brenken, Ahden and Wewelsburg. In all three villages, you have the opportunity to visit sights in Bürener Land, such as Wewelsburg Castle or the Jesuit Church. The Almetal valley, which you hike through on the way back, offers you a wonderful view of the route you have already covered.

In the footsteps of the "Noble Lord Moritz von Büren", the route leads through the forests and river valleys of Bürener Land. The 27 km circular trail begins in Büren on the market square and runs along Burgstraße past the magnificent Jesuit church and the Jesuit college. The Sintfeld-Höhenweg takes you into the Büren city forest past the forest school.

In the Haaren forest, the L754 is crossed after approx. five km. The route continues along the Ahdener Talweg to Wewelsburg, where there is an opportunity to visit the historical museum and the contemporary history documentation. The way back runs through the charming Almetal valley. After a short descent from Wewelsburg Castle, the route continues along the Alme via Ahden to Brenken. You leave the Alme valley at St. Mark's Chapel in Brenken and walk uphill along the panoramic trail towards Hellweg.

Afterwards, you return along the Alme back to Büren.
