Die Borntal-Route

The 7 km long and  approx. 2-hour hike above Einbeck offers impressive views of the town with its historic old town center.

While a stroll through the town brings you closer to the medieval townscape, this hiking tour gives you an interesting overall view of the town.

At the same time, you will get to know the nearby Einbecker Forest , which today, like the green Borntal , is part of the city's surrounding area and fulfils an important function as a local recreation area for the "city dwellers".
