The stage 14 of the Eifelsteig leads from Bruch to Kordel.

This stage is very diverse in terms of the countryside it passes through. Dense mixed forests, distant vistas and wildly romantic valleys shape the landscape and ask a lot of hikers' fitness. While the first few kilometres pass along the tranquil river course of the Rivers Salm and Gladbach, the middle section climbs up to the high plateau around the village of Zemmer, an idyllic Eifel village where it is well worth visiting the charming local history museum. In the neighbouring village of Rodt, the observation tower offers unique distant views over the Eifel as far as the Hunsrück and the Moselle. The trail then leads down into the valley of the River Kyll. In this section you have time to enjoy the silence and the rushing of the water. This stage ends in Kordel, where in summer the beautifully situated open-air pool holds the promise of a cooling bathe after a long hike.

Highlights along the way: Kyll Valley; Ridge of the South Eifel; Zemmer Local History Museum; Observation tower in Zemmer-Rodt; Rock formations, caves and Roman road in Kordel
