Directions
From the main hiking portal in the town center, we follow the road "Auf dem Graben" in the direction of Medebach. A short ascent on an asphalted path takes us to the "Zum Brande" refuge. Here, at the edge of the forest, you have a beautiful view of part of the village and the Waldecker Bergland.
In the forest, at the first fork in the path, we leave the Medebacher Bergweg and turn right onto the easy forest path through old beech trees. After leaving the forest, we meet the Hallebach stream. The path runs parallel to the stream until the center of the village, always protected by the edge of the forest. There are also several fish ponds along the stream, which can be admired from the numerous benches along the way.

- From the Rhineland: A4 Cologne-Olpe to the Olpe junction, take the A45 towards Dortmund to the Olpe exit, B55 towards Lennestadt, B236 Schmallenberg, Winterberg and then to Medebach-Oberschledorn
- From the east: A44 Dortmund-Kassel to exit Wünnenberg-Haaren, B480 Brilon, Olsberg, direction Winterberg and then to Medebach-Oberschledorn
- From the south: A5 from Frankfurt to Gießen, A485/B3 exit Marburg, B252 Wetter, B236 Hallenberg-Winterberg and then to Medebach-Oberschledorn
- From Willingen: Bus R46 (RLG): Willingen-Düdinghausen-Oberschledorn
- From Winterberg: Bus R48 (RLG): Winterberg-Düdinghausen / change in Medebach to the R46 in the direction of Oberschledorn-Düdinghausen
