Circular hiking trail from Telgte via Westbevern through the Klatenberge and the juniper heath back to Telgte. The 11-kilometre hiking trail leads past sights such as Haus Langen and the Telgte triad. Nature lovers will also get their money's worth here with the Emsaue and the beautiful juniper heath. A great hiking route to switch off, relax and enjoy.

From the market square, follow hiking trail X15 along the Ems river for a short distance to Haus Langen. The water mill at Haus Langen is one of the most striking, typically Münsterland double structures, consisting of an oil mill and a grain mill. Directly opposite is the Haus Langen manor, built on a ring wall from Germanic prehistory. Shortly afterwards, continue on the X4/X15 to the Telgte district of Westbevern, whose church tower you can see from afar. After a short rest, follow the footpath along the road for a while until you turn left after the town sign and follow the stations of the Way of the Cross to Calvary in the Klatenberge. Continue straight on through the forest back to Telgte. Be sure to plan a stop at one of the most beautiful picnic spots in Telgte! The juniper heath in the pine forest area is a relic of a heath landscape that was once widespread in the Münsterland. From the highest dune crest you have a wonderful panoramic view over the heath landscape with gnarled juniper bushes and old pine trees. Especially during the heath blossom season in August/September, this is a worthwhile side trip. Just take off your shoes and feel the soft sand under your feet. Even if it is hard to leave this idyllic spot, the route continues through the Klatenberge and the poplar forest back to Telgte.

The circular walk starts and ends at the market square in the historic old town of Telgte,
Getting there by car:
- Telgte can be reached by car via the A1 (Cologne - Bremen) or the A43 (Wuppertal - Münster). From Münster it is about twelve kilometres on the B51 towards Telgte.
- It is not possible to arrive directly by car, as the market square is located in the pedestrian zone of the city centre. Parking is available at the Dümmert car park.
Arrival by bus and train:
- Telgte railway station: Arrival with the RB 67 from Münster / Warendorf, distance Marktplatz about 500 metres.
- Arrival by bus: R11 / R13 from Münster / Warendorf. Get off at Telgte station or Telgte town hall.
Parking is available at the Dümmert car park (Navi: Emstor 5). The parking spaces in the back rows are unlimited in time.
