The approximately one-hour circular cycle tour connects the districts of Stukenbrock-Senne and Stukenbrock - and thus special highlights such as the Stalag 326 memorial, the Ems Adventure World and Safariland. All of this is garnished with far-reaching views and the enjoyment of nature in the Senneland landscape and the view of the Teutoburg Forest. You cycle on a largely easy route with wide cycle paths or roads.

Away from the main roads, you cycle on well-maintained paths through the flat Senneland landscape at the foot of the Teutoburg Forest. You will relatively rarely cross wooded areas. Most of the time you have a wide view over the open landscape. A detour to the Ems Adventure World is recommended. Learn all about the phenomena surrounding the Ems, whose highest source is in Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock, through your own activities. From there, it is a relatively short walk to the center of Stukenbrock, past the traditional Zum Kuhkamp restaurant. There are various places to stop for refreshments in the town center, from ice cream parlors to upscale cafés, from snack bars to nice restaurants.
On the way to Stukenbrock-Senne, you cycle along the district road for quite a while. A well-maintained cycle path takes you safely and comfortably to your next destination, the Hohe Straße junction. You are now heading straight towards the Senne lake. It is worth taking a walk around the lake. Along the Furlbach stream you come to the campsite at Furlbach. A small shop will help you refuel under the trees.
Back in Stukenbrock-Senne, take a look at the St. Achatius church. Do you notice anything? The barrel vault is a particularly wood-saving roof variant!

Author´s Tip / Recommendation of the author

Look out for the trees along the path. Someone has carved a figure into a knothole in a tree on Tölkenweg and painted it. Can you find it?
