- Start: Löbau
- Destination: Löbauer Berg (Löbau Mountain)
Start your 49-kilometre tour in the cosy small town of Löbau - a member of the Sechsstädtebund (The Upperlusatian Six Towns League) - at the foot of Löbauer Berg. You leave Löbau in a northerly direction and reach the district of Georgewitz. Continue cycling through Rosenhain to one of the most beautiful villages in Germany - Rosenbach. Relax while visiting the Mittelmühle in the district of Bischdorf. This restored water mill has the oldest intact inside waterwheel in Saxony. The landmark of the village is the 1,000-year-old oak tree in Herwigsdorf (natural monument). The way takes you via Strahwalde to the officially recognised health resort of Obercunnersdorf with its typical Upper Lusatian houses (Umgebindehäuser). In Niedercunnersdorf it can be recommended to visit one of the museums. Then cycle back via Ebersdorf to the city of the cast-iron tower.
