Two days of festival fun right in the heart of the city: Bad Essen will become the beer capital of the North on July 17–18, 2026. Hafenstraße / Marina will be transformed into an open-air bar featuring over 100 varieties of beer—from regional craft breweries to international guests from Belgium, the Czech Republic, Finland, and other countries. Admission is free.

The Bad Essen Beer Festival is part of Germany’s largest beer festival tour: 16 cities between April and September 2026, organized by GiG Linden GmbH from Hanover, which has been developing the format since 2013. In addition to classics like Pilsner, Helles, and wheat beer, craft beers, Belgian Trappist beers, fruity sour beers, and non-alcoholic varieties will be on tap—accompanied by food stands and music.
