Concert: Classical music & jazz in the castle

Experience a varied concert by young and already very virtuoso musicians from the Saxon State Grammar School for Music. In the first part, you will hear classical pieces in ensemble formation, after a short break it gets jazzy - the Arthur Holowenko Quintet offers atmospheric music and concludes its small tour on the occasion of the 27th German-Czech Cultural Days.

Meanwhile, you can enjoy the finest culinary accompaniment in our Winter Café, which will be open again from November to February in the historic garden hall. Fine mulled wine from the Hoflößnitz organic winery and regional apple punch will tantalize your taste buds, while the first stollen of the season from the Schandau bakery is just waiting to be sampled. Our Café Kerzenschein is open on concert days from 2 pm to 6 pm.
