Haxenfete

For 32 years now, the motto in Obersasbach on the first Saturday in the summer holidays has been: "Immer uff die Schward"! Once again this year, crispy knuckles of pork will be grilled for you on the special grills we developed and built ourselves - "Panther's Haxenblitze".

The Trachtenkapelle Obersasbach would like to cordially invite you to the festival meadow next to the Grindehalle on 2 August 2025 from 17:00.

There will be plenty of food and drink available. In addition to delicious knuckle of pork, there will be Bauhöfer beers, wines from Alde Gott and many other specialities. Of course, there will also be non-stop brass band music. Even the little ones won't miss out and can let off steam with an attractive children's programme.

Our Haxenfete takes place whatever the weather. However, if you would prefer to enjoy your knuckle of pork in a small group at home, you are welcome to collect it from the Grindehalle before the start of the Haxenfete from 15:00.
