The story is set in 17th century France. D'Artagnan, a young Gascon, makes his way to Paris. He wants to become a musketeer in the king's guard and follow in his father's footsteps. As soon as he arrives, he comes into conflict with the three musketeers Athos, Porthos and Aramis, but suddenly they have to defend themselves together against Cardinal Richelieu's henchmen. They become friends and have many adventures together. A story of power, intrigue and passion begins.
The musical by Rob and Ferdi Bolland, based on the famous novel by Alexandre Dumas, captivates with powerful rock-pop music and emotional ballads, gripping scenes, spectacular fencing battles and a large dose of humor.
The Bolland brothers caused a sensation in the 1980s with compositions for the singer Falco. They penned the songs "Jeannie" and "Rock me Amadeus". The musical was developed on behalf of Stage Entertainment.
