Our traditional integration festival "People in Bohmte - We belong together!" will take place again this year - on Sunday, June 1, 2025, from 12:00 to approx. 17:00 on the station forecourt in Bohmte. For over 30 years, this special festival has been bringing people from different backgrounds together and sending a strong signal for peaceful coexistence.
In these times, when social cohesion and mutual understanding are more important than ever, we want to set an example with this festival. It shows how enriching diversity can be and that respectful and friendly coexistence is the basis for a strong community.
As usual, the participating nations present the culinary specialties of their home countries at their stands - because good food connects and invites you to share! A varied stage program with music and dance performances from different cultures provides the best entertainment.
Numerous associations, institutions such as schools and parishes, action groups and committed individuals contribute with their commitment to ensuring that the festival remains a place of encounter and togetherness. Their commitment is an important contribution to peaceful coexistence in our community - we would like to express our sincere thanks for this!
