The Slow Food Convivium will visit the Osnabrück Hospice on September 9, 2025 at 5:00 pm. It is located in the middle of the city near the Marienhospital, has a very homely atmosphere, small outdoor terraces, beautiful communal and visiting rooms and a
concept that involves all the senses.
What does Slow Food have to do with the hospice?
"Good clean fair" is the slogan of the Slow Food movement - the enjoyment of good food is a cornerstone of the movement. This is also a very important aspect for the hospice: the facility at Johannisfreiheit has its own kitchen, where fresh food is cooked daily and the wishes and preferences of the guests determine the food on offer.
The kitchen and support staff invite the group of visitors to take a brief tour of the communal areas. We will then meet at the round table and staff will report on hospice life and the concept with a special focus on eating and drinking in the hospice - with all senses until the end.
The Slow Food Convivium Osnabrück is looking forward to an informative evening with a communal exchange and experiences from an area that is still unfamiliar to many.
