The inn is located in the centre of the Hertigswalde district, around 2000 metres from Sebnitz market square. Hiking trails into the beautiful landscape of Saxon Switzerland start directly behind the house.
The house is one of the oldest still existing inns in the town and can look back on an exciting history.
The focus is on good and varied Saxon cuisine as well as regional and environmentally friendly products.
What is a beer garden at Gasthof Hertigswalde in summer is transformed into an atmospherically illuminated winter terrace with a fire bowl, mulled wine and punch in the cold season. Perfect for setting the mood for a romantic dinner. The highlight of the menu from January is the skrei: a particularly flavoursome winter cod, fresh from the Lofoten Islands.
