In 1646 a replica of the Chapel of the Assumption near Jerusalem was built on the hill between Oberkail and Schwarzenborn.

Due to a vision of Count Philipp Dietrich von Manderscheid-Kall the chapel was built and was in former times a much-visited place of pilgrimage.
