A mini golf course, adventure playground, tennis courts and an indoor riding arena attract young and old alike.
Other interesting places to visit in old Lower Saxony half-timbered houses in the park:
- the Lower Saxony State Gymnastics School
- the local history museum/ Grönegau Museum
The Grönegau Museum, located on the Gröneberg homestead, offers visitors beautiful objects and artefacts from many historical eras that represent the home of both rural and urban culture. As the museum's sponsor, the Heimatverein Melle e.V. is constantly striving to collect old museum objects and exhibit them in the museum to show future generations how our ancestors lived. Valuable materials, certificates, documents and pictures are stored in the "Kornspeicher" museum complex. On a total of three floors, there are also folkloristic collections of rural textiles, traditional costumes, dresses, skirts, blouses, aprons and old municipal furniture, porcelain, silver, jewelry, religious literature of both denominations and church property as well as pictures and photos of beautiful old houses and important personalities from Melle.
In 1979, the district of Osnabrück made another building, the so-called Kotten, available to the Heimatverein for museum purposes. The Kotten contains in particular old tools, farm and craft utensils and tools that had become dispensable due to advances in technology.
Since 1989, a 16th century bakehouse has enriched the museum complex.
In 1997, a half-timbered building designed as a coach house was added.
