The Amselsee is a picturesque lake in the spa town of Rathen, in the middle of the impressive landscape of Saxon Switzerland. Surrounded by dense forest and high cliffs, the lake is a popular excursion destination for nature lovers, hikers and those seeking relaxation.
There are numerous hiking trails around the Amselsee that lead to breathtaking viewpoints and through idyllic valleys. A boat trip on the lake is also possible and offers a unique view of the surrounding area.
You should allow around 30 minutes for a boat trip with rowing boats or pedal boats.
