Between Markt and Beethovenhaus, in the heart of Bonn's city center, the Namen-Jesu-Kirche has been used as a place of worship since 1877 
First, the Namen-Jesu-Kirche was used as the first parish church of the Old Catholic community until 1934. From 1934 to 2009 as a Roman Catholic church, and finally as a university church.
