School
The girls' school, which had existed as an institution since 1826, was built in 1860/61 according to plans by the Minden architect Wilhelm Moelle.

The Remter (dining hall) of the St. Marienstift convent, which was dissolved in 1810, was demolished for the new building and the demolition material (sandstone) was reused. The school comprised 5 classrooms and 2 reserve classes, which had previously been the teachers' accommodation. There was also a conference room and utility rooms. Due to the large influx of female pupils, the need for space had grown considerably. In 1894, the school moved into the new building on Brüningstraße. Since then, the old girls' school has been the vicarage of the Martini Church.
