Circular route 'Ameise' (Ant) - Easy tour around Zwieslerwaldhaus

The circular trail with the marking 'Ameise' (Ant) leads steplessly around Zwieslerwaldhaus with only slight inclines. Thus, it is also accessible for wheelchairs and strollers. This circular trail is certified as a high quality hiking trail by the German Hiking Association. The pristine forest area Mittelsteighütte, which begins just behind Zwieslerwaldhaus, accommodates old firs, beech trees and spruces. Due to its deadwood, it serves as a retreat for rare species of fungi and insects.
