Extended tour around the raised bog areas of Klosterfilz and Großer Filz
On this relaxing tour into the raised bog area Klosterfilz and Großer Filz, we will walk through bogs and woods partly on boardwalks. The signpost is dedicated to the european adder, which is a natural inhabitant of this area. Along the Große Ohe river, we continue to the Filzwald, which looks quite different from most of the national park’s forests. Moor-spirkes are able to resist the acidic, nutrient-poor soils.
