You can experience the beauty and diversity of North Rhine-Westphalia's largest fruit and vegetable-growing region on the approx. 124 km themed cycle path, which has been awarded three stars.

The largest fruit and vegetable-growing region in NRW offers a unique cultural and natural landscape, especially in spring when the fruit is in bloom and in fall during the harvest. Unfortunately, there are not all climbs, but if you have to cycle uphill, you will almost always be rewarded with fantastic views. Whether into the Eifel, the Ahr valley or as far as Cologne Cathedral - they are all spectacular.  The themed cycle route leads along low-traffic and well-paved paths. On a large part of the route, you can relax and enjoy nature on wide farm tracks. Around 90% of the main route is asphalted and offers comfort in all weathers. Numerous farm stores, farm cafés, restaurants and accommodation offer you the opportunity to stop off along the way, linger and buy regional produce. You can rest and relax at the 12 newly designed rest areas along the main route. The attractive adventure stations offer interesting information about regional agriculture and the cultural landscape.
