Pure nature reigns at the bathing lakes between Naunhof and Brandis. So it's no wonder why they have been popular destinations for swimmers, hikers and cyclists for decades. Lake Albrechtshain provides a little variety with its campsite and climbing forest.

Directions
The trail starts at Beucha railroad station, with the Beucha church quarry behind you. Follow Albert-Knutz-Straße in a southerly direction and turn right onto Kleinsteinberger Straße. The Albrechtshainer-See-Weg trail finally appears on the right and continues clockwise around the lake. The circular route leads past the Eisenquelle spring, the Leipzig climbing forest and the Albrechtshainer See campsite. The Albrechtshainer-See-Weg is reached again on the right via the Schulweg. From here, you can return to the mountain church.
