Find peace and really clear your mind by hiking: In the gentle ups and downs through the lonely forests, meadows, and fields of the Nutscheid, you will find mental relaxation and distance from everyday life. On the extensive high paths, you often have the opportunity to let your gaze wander into the distance.

Directions
First, the access path leads over the Kelterser Berg to the main route. Then it goes up to Oberbohlscheid, where views open up over the surrounding fields and meadows as well as the elevations of the Bergisches Land. The path goes up and down through mixed forest, and time and again, the partly mighty holly bushes stand out, which do not thrive everywhere in Germany, but find an ideal habitat here. Above Oberottersbach, forests and meadows alternate – beautiful views into the valley. You circle Rieferath on beautiful paths and forest trails through deciduous forests, alternating with bright forest regeneration areas. Even in the Kaltbach valley, a new forest is gradually growing after the loss of spruce forests. Shortly before the small Kaltbach flows into the Sieg, the crossing of the narrow Dehlenbach valley follows on a narrow path. You climb steeply up to the strawberry fields and apple orchards of the "Appelhof" before a chilling trace of the past follows: a so-called Thingplatz, a theater-like meeting place built by the National Socialists combined with a memorial for the fallen of the First World War. Then it goes along a high path above the Sieg loop to Herchen.
