The route continues towards Varste and Welschen Ennest, past the quiet settlement of Kuhlenberg, offering a successful mix of nature experiences and small villages. The trail finally rejoins the Rothaarsteig access path and leads back to Benolpe via the Benolper Weidekamp. After crossing the district road 19 (Benolpe-Silberg), the hiking trail leads via Mark to the Wegescheid hiking parking lot above Wirme.
From the hiking parking lot, the circular route follows the rhombus sign to the west towards Varste and Welschen Ennest. Up to the Kuhlenberg settlement, the hiking trail unfortunately runs along a road with light traffic. After Kuhlenberg, the hiking trail rejoins the Rothaarsteig access trail at the Lentermike signpost. At this crossroads, the circular tour now leads via the hiking sign with two bars to Benolper Weidekamp (approx. 1.7 km) or back to Benolpe.
