Between the Zwickauer Land region and the city of Leipzig, the approx. 80 km long Pleißeradweg runs along the river of the same name. The route takes us through the hilly Altenburger Land and through Leipzig's Neuseenland region.
The Pleißeradweg is particularly recommended for supra-regional tours. Due to the rather flat landscape, the route is a low-difficulty cycle route and is therefore also very suitable for families.

On the way, we cross the Neuseenland cycle route in Regis-Breitingen and Markkleeberg. The Leipzig Green Ring is crossed at Böhlen. In Leipzig, you have access to the KOHLE | DAMPF | LICHT | SEEN cycle route and the Elsterradweg.
