The circular tour is particularly suitable for families with small children due to its short distance and proximity to nature with a viewpoint at the Emssee nature reserve. For those who want to travel a little further, there is the option of combining the tour with the Mastholte route. A special highlight along the tour is the Bible Village, a project of the Protestant parish that is unique in Germany.

The 10 km tour starts at the historic town hall in Rietberg and takes you along the River Ems, past the Bibeldorf (open-air museum and educational learning site of the Protestant parish) and the Emssee nature reserve to the district of Bokel and back to the historic town center of Rietberg.
