The starting point of the nature tour through the north of Spenge is the Zentral-Theater in the town center. After a few kilometers, the route leads past St. Martin's Church and an erratic boulder to the picturesque windmill in Hücker Aschen. Panoramic views over the Ravensberg hills follow before you reach the Hücker Moor, the only large lake for miles around. Cafés on the lake shore invite you to stop for a bite to eat, while the water, swamp, forest and meadow areas are perfect for observing rare plant and animal species. The route continues via Klein-Aschen to the Warmenau border stream. Passing through a hollow path, you reach a location with beautiful old pollard willows by the Eselsbach stream. The route leads back to Spenge along grassy paths past old farmsteads with mighty oaks.

Directions
The tour starts at the Zentral-Theater in the north of the town of Spenge. It heads north to St. Martin's Church and from there in a north-easterly direction through Neuenfelde towards Dreyen. Then north to the Hücker Aschen windmill in Gehlenbrink. From there it goes once around the Hücker Moor to Kleinen Aschen. The route continues in a southerly direction along the Warmenau nature reserve to the state border at Balgerbrück. The route then crosses the Eselsbach stream, where there are pollarded willows. From there, the route returns to the starting point, the Zentral-Theater.
