You’ll be walking on legendary smuggler’s paths here and through dense and pristine forests. While hiking on this trail, you’ll get a sensation of natural calm and complete seclusion. There are some challenging ascents, featuring old quarries and rocks with rolling creek valleys.

Wonderfully secluded, this hiking trail leads along narrow, natural paths over the heights of the "Schwarzwälder Hochwald" forest around Weiskirchen and through the two nature reserves "Wahnbachtal" and "Behlengraben". In addition, the "Herberloch", an old quarry that has developed into a natural biotope over the years, is located along the path.
