Hochwald Trail

On this tour, you can enjoy the tranquillity of the Hochwald forest on secluded paths. With its mix of romantic streams and valleys, steep ascents and descents, wonderful views over the entire northern Saarland and unspoilt nature, the Hochwald Trail makes for a proper hike of discovery. Over a distance of approximately 7,5 miles, you will walk on narrow, unspoilt paths right through the most diverse forest formations. The "Herberloch", an old quarry that has developed into a beautiful lake over time, is a special highlight along the way.
