Festa Junina

A celebration for the whole family—at 4 p.m., we’ll kick things off with games and fun for kids and Brazilian delicacies at the Platz der Städtefreundschaft in front of the adult education center. Dancing starts at 6 p.m.: First, there will be a workshop featuring elements of various Brazilian dance styles—open to everyone, regardless of dance experience. Afterward, our club will offer a trial class for those new to forró.

Admission is free. We welcome donations of non-perishable food items for the food bank—in keeping with the Brazilian tradition of the Festas Juninas.
