Monday to Thursday: 11:00 am to 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Friday to Sunday: 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

To Hohnstein by bus and train:
Either to Pirna or Bad Schandau.
From Pirna, bus routes 236 and 237 will take you to your destination in 35 minutes. From Bad Schandau, bus route 254 takes passengers to Hohnstein in around 20 minutes. Please note: Due to the complete closure of the Elbe bridge in Bad Schandau (B172), you will have to take the ferry for the time being and then take the bus from Bad Schandau.
To Hohnstein by car and motorbike:
From Dresden, take the A4 motorway in the direction of Görlitz. In Burkau, take the exit to Hohnstein. From there it is another 15 kilometres to your destination.
On the A4 motorway from Chemnitz, take the A17 towards Prague shortly before Dresden. Leave the motorway in Pirna in the direction of Bastei. Follow the road towards Hohnstein, which you reach after 10 minutes. A little later, the road winds its way down into the Polenztal valley.
