Heywood Park, also known as Swan Lake, is home to a disc golf course with 12 holes. The park is open around the clock. You can play from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Disc golf is still relatively new and different from other sports, actually a hybrid of golf and frisbee.
The principle of the game is simple, the aim is to play through a given course with as few throws as possible. After the throw, the game continues from where the disc landed. The goal of each course is a catch basket that you have to hit.
