The Romanesque parish church of St. Marien dates back to the beginning of the 13th century. The square west tower is 28 meters high and, like the church, is built from local limestone. Fragments of the medieval wall and vault paintings have been preserved in the transept and choir. After extensive renovations, the church has shone in new splendor since 2010.
