Strandbücherei Schillig

The Strandbücherei is an institution of the Ev.Luth. Church in Oldenburg in cooperation with Wangerland Touristik.  All employees come from Protestant public libraries and work on a voluntary basis. Here you will always receive friendly advice on the current media selection for all readers; for children and adults.

Are you looking for a specific book, something exciting, funny, a romantic read or a nice book to read aloud The lovingly designed clay figures are now also available to borrow. Do you like to play? The library has a wide range of games on offer.

Of course, we also have lots of new publications and mangas for children and young people.

There are many good reasons to visit the Strandbücherei. Come and browse,

maybe you will finally find time to read while on vacation.

Special features:

• Tuesdays from 19.00 - 21.00 pm in the beach library Schillig a games evening takes place. 
• Fridays at 11.00 am for children from 3 years picture book cinema takes place.
• Fridays in the wash house 3 also a book flea market is offered.
