Nordsee-Campingplatz Hooksiel

Nordseecamping Hooksiel and Nordseecamping Schillig have a long tradition. Nordseecamping Hooksiel in Wangerland on the North Sea is one of the largest and oldest campsites in Germany and impresses with its scenic diversity with sea, mudflats and pure nature, a family-friendly ambience and an excellent culinary offer. Camping is cult here! Nudists can also look forward to a separate part of the site. The campsite has been awarded four stars by the German Tourism Association and has the corresponding facilities. Each pitch has a direct connection for electricity and in some cases water and waste water (electricity consumption included), modern sanitary facilities, playgrounds, football pitch, Wi-Fi, bakery, restaurant, children's and sports entertainment, event hall "Camperscheune", and much more.

In addition, a wide range of camping activities awaits you. Camping by the sea, on the dyke, on the UNESCO Wadden Sea World Heritage Site. The site is located at the beginning of a sandy beach that stretches for four kilometers to the outer harbour. On the other side of the dyke is a huge recreational area with hiking and riding trails, a harness racing track, sports facilities, tennis courts and the "Hooksmeer", an inland lake covering around 70 hectares, which connects the outer harbor with the old, listed harbor in the historic center of Hooksiel and offers ideal conditions for water sports. Several marinas, a sailing school, pedal boat hire, a surf bay with surf school and a water ski lift complete the offer.

The seawater indoor wave pool and the guest house with various event rooms, a library and the "Seepferdchen" children's play area are just a few minutes' walk from the campsite. The harbour in the historic town center is the location of the summer harbour festivals and a popular meeting place for "seaside" people.
