This family-friendly hiking tour takes you around 6.5 kilometers around the carnation town of Blomberg. The trail leads along the Philosophenweg, past the vineyard and castle wall, over the remains of the Hudewald forest on the Rusterberg and back to the starting point. A walk through narrow alleyways, past beautiful half-timbered houses and the medieval castle takes you back in time. And all this embedded in a landscape to fall in love with, a paradise for hikers.

Motorhome lovers will love this site. Centrally adjacent to the historic old town, a quiet, newly designed motorhome site awaits you. Taps for electricity, water and waste water disposal are available. Shopping facilities and sights are within easy walking distance.

The old wash house dates back to 1881. In the 1950s, laundry was still washed, rinsed and dried here on the bleaching floor of the quarry.

The Niedere Tor (Niederntor) is the southern entrance to the town of Blomberg. An old trade route, the "Kölnische Landstraße", led through the gate into the town. Today, the Niederntor is the only remaining town gate in Lippe.
