Einbeck Center:
The tour starts in Einbeck Center at the New Town Hall. From there, head onto Grimselstraße towards Altendorfer Tor where you cross the Ilme river and head towards Salzderhelden. Â
TIP: The parking lot at the New Town Hallis free and thetrain stationis right next door. If you want to refresh yourself before the tour, there's a small café-bistro right next to the new Town Hall called Panache´.Â
Salzderhelden:
In Salzderhelden, you head towards theflood retention basin and then along the Leinepolder and can take a little break to observe rare bird species at the observation points.
Tip: Along the Leinepolder you will also always find display boards with descriptions.
When you pass theNature Reserve Waterfowl Sanctuary Northeim Lake District you head towards Holtenesen.Â
Holtensen:
From Holtensen, the route now goes towards the forest to the Duckstein spring. From here you cycle right through nature.Â
TIP:Â
From the Duckstein spring, 8 liters of water per second constantly gush out. Endangered and protected types of moss are native to the spring area. A shelter and tables and benches beside it invite you to rest and party. Â
Rotenkirchen:Â
From Rotenkirchen it then goes towards Hullersen. From Hullersen, it is only a few kilometers to Einbeck. In the town center of Rotenkirchen, there is aninformation point.
