Family cycling: cycling, playing & discovering

The parking lot at Lehenpoint is a good place to start and end the route because nearby are the Fischbachau pump track, a soccer field, a playground, and a barefoot path – a colorful offer for families and children of various age groups. For those who find cycling activity not enough, there is about a 1-hour idyllic footpath through the fairytale forest to follow and search for many small forest creatures to discover. The bike route goes through wooded areas, past clearings and meadows after starting at Lehenpoint. The farm café at Melchern, which you pass halfway, is a good place to take a break. On a path along the Leitzach, it then goes back towards Fischbachau. Although some sections have gravel paths that go up and down or are uneven, most of the way is asphalted and very easy to manage as a family. The route is recommended not only because of the beautiful views but also because it connects many excursion destinations.
