Easy route for young and old (suitable for trekking bikes and especially for gravel bikes) - Note: The route has been slightly revised compared to the mountain bike map "Radltraum Süd" and is being newly signposted! (as of March 2021)

The chapel route leads to the most beautifully located chapels in and around Bayrischzell. The highlight of the route, the Birkenstein pilgrimage chapel in Fischbachau, is located halfway along the route.

The entire route is also easily manageable with a trekking bike and suitable for families, as there are only a few altitude meters and the path quality is good to very good.

Along the route, numerous dining options are available. In Bayrischzell, Osterhofen, Geitau, and Birkenstein you can enjoy delicacies from Bavarian cuisine.
